HUGE book signing April 22
@ Mt. Logan Middle School
Come meet authors Brandon Mull, Shannon Hale, Ally Condie, James Dashner, & Jessica Day George.
Friday, April 22 @ 6pm
The authors will be speaking first, and a book signing will follow.
This is HUGE! It was originally planned at the Logan City Library and the planners had to move it to Mt. Logan Middle School because of the amazing response. Be sure to arrive early. Don’t worry if you don’t have your own copy- we will be selling books there.
Here is just a little bit about these talented authors. Click on their names to go to their website/blog. Most of them still say that the book signing is at the Logan Library, but it’s actually now at Mt. Logan Middle School.
Brandon Mull is the author of Fablehaven, a series of books about the fascinating world of two siblings and their adventures on a magical reserve. His latest book, Beyonders: A World Without Heroes, is the first of another great series we are proud to sell at the BookTable.
Brief Bio from her blog: Shannon Hale is the New York Times best-selling author of six young adult novels, including the Newbery Honor book Princess Academy, two award-winning books for adults, and the upcoming Midnight in Austenland (Jan. 2012). She co-wrote the hit graphic novel Rapunzel’s Revenge and its sequel with husband Dean Hale. They live with their four small children near Salt Lake City, Utah.
Author of the 13th Reality Series and the Maze Runner
About his latest addition to the 13th Reality Series: The Blade of Shattered Hope: Things have changed for Atticus Higginbottom. After the near catastrophe in the Fourth Reality, Tick’s being homeschooled in the fields of science, trying to master the mysterious Chi’karda. But just as he begins to make progress, Mistress Jane reappears, now hideously scarred and much more powerful.
From her blog: I’m Ally Condie, author of the MATCHED trilogy. MATCHED was released in November 2010, its sequel, CROSSED, will be released on November 1, 2011, and the third book will be released in November 2012. In my former life, I was a high school English teacher (and I still keep my license current, just in case!). In my current life, I write, read, run, and hang out with my three boys. I post on Tuesdays and Thursdays (and other days if the mood strikes me) and I’m on Twitter (@allycondie).
Author of Princess of the Midnight Ball and Dragonskin Slippers
As her website declares, for Jessica “It’s all about the books.” After going through an assortment of jobs that have taken her across the United States (One of which was at a wedding invitation activity- I’ll bet she has some great stories from that.), she is now the author of seven published novels. She has a way cute blog that we linked to on her name (click on any of the authors’ names to see their website).
