‘Elf On the Shelf’ is Back On Our Shelves

During the Holidays, we have many popular looks selling out. Among Corrie Ten Boon’s The Hiding Place and Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, another favorite is Elf On the Shelf. The boxed set includes a storybook telling of the tradition, and an elf doll.

The idea is that Santa knows if you’ve been good or bad by keeping the elf on the shelf all month long. He moves from room to room (aided by his helpers, wink wink) and watches the children during the day to make sure they’re behaving their best. At night he goes back to the North Pole to report to Santa. Children can register their elf online and receive a special response back from Santa. It’s a great Christmas tradition, and wildly popular, and we currently have 8 sitting in front of the General Book register.
