Camp Game Ideas

Oh, what do you do at summer camp…? Here are a few ideas for games:

Ever been led out in the middle of the woods in the middle of the night at camp with your pillow case and told to look for snipes? Turn the age-old activity into a competitive game! In Snipe Hunt, each team has a snipe they hide, then they go looking for the others’ snipe. If you don’t find it in the allotted time, it will chirp and light up.

We like this version much more than the original prank because everyone has a good time- including first-timers.

Here’s another version of an age-old camp game: Capture the Flag. Up the excitement and get everything you need to play a glow-in-the-dark version with two teams in one box. Capture the Flag Neon includes red and blue flashing LED flags, 50 red and 50 blue glow bracelets, and 3 border marker color changing LEDs. The part we like best? Batteries are included!

Want something a little less active for that down time you know will inevitably happen?

Try some S’mores. -The card game, that is.

S’mores is a fast, simple card game. There are five cards: campfire, graham cracker, chocolate, and marshmallow. Be the first person to get four out of the five possible cards to make your s’more and you win.

Hit the trail!

The goal of Hit the Trail is to get 100 miles (points) from your cards. This is a good game if you need something to last more than a few S’mores.

If all else fails to keep you entertained at camp, you can always try Camp Talk cards. Created by kids so your questions don’t seem absolutely ridiculous, here are some fun subjects to keep you informed and entertained.
