Here’s a quick sneak-peek at some of the games we’ll be featuring on Saturday at our Toy Testing Carnival!
Be the first player to get all ten of your dice to show the same number.
HOW TO PLAY:
(2-4 players.) Each player chooses a set of dice. Players hold all ten dice
in their hands. Someone says “Go” and everyone rolls at the same time.
Quickly look at your roll and decide which number you are going to go
for. (For example, if you have more 3’s than any other number, that’s
what you want to go for.) Put all your dice with that number aside,
collect the remaining dice and quickly roll again. (You do not have to
wait for others to roll again. Everyone rolls together only on the first
roll.) Keep rolling until all ten of your dice show the same number.
The first player to get all ten of their dice to match (ten 3’s, for example)
shouts out “TENZI” and wins the game!
Stomp on the Launch Pad and a blast of air propels the Stomp Rocket over 200 feet in the air!
In Jungle Speed, you must rely on your keen sense of observation and quick reflexes. It requires a steady hand — which can be hard to maintain during the many fits of maniacal laughter! The wooden Totem sits in the middle of the table, waiting for the player with the fastest reflexes to snatch it up and win the game.
Each player is dealt a hand of cards. In order to win you must be the first player to get rid of all of your cards. Each turn, all of the players reveal one of their cards. If two cards are identical, those players must make a grab for the Totem. The faster player then gives their cards to their unfortunate adversary.
To add to the difficulty, certain cards are almost identical, which can trick a hapless player into grabbing the Totem by mistake — a grave error. Other cards force all players to make a grab at once, change the method of play, or otherwise add to the difficulty.
Test your tactics and try your luck with 20 Express. In this Bingo-style game, each player has a train of 20 cars to fill with numbers. With every draw out of a bag of 40 numbered tiles (1 through 30), players must assign the number to a car. The goal is to end up with the longest ascending series of numbers. Break a series and you miss out on points. Logic, probability and fortune all come into play. You’ll be on the edge of your seat with every draw. The best part? 20 Express can be played with an UNLIMITED number of players!
Get right on track with the perfect game for a large group.
