About the book . . .

Eric has always felt useless. That is, until he meets Charlotte, the new girl at school. She has the power to see other people’s natural-born abilities–what they are born to do. So when she tells him he’s a pirate hunter, and offers to prove it, Eric can’t resist the adventure. Thrown in the middle of the Spanish Main, Eric must quickly accept his skills, or else succumb to the horrors of the dreaded Willard Pirate Twins.

About the author . . .

Marty Reeder lives in Smithfield, Utah, with his wife and five children. He teaches creative writing and Spanish at the local high school. Though not a natural born pirate hunter, he taught sailing at Scout camps for many years and uses his history degree to fuel worlds of piracy and compensate for perhaps being born in the wrong time and place for his passions!

Meet the Authors; Saturday, July 18th!

Thank you to everyone who came out to the sidewalk sale last weekend. It was a lot of fun! We have another fun event this weekend so make sure to stop by!

We are so excited to have two authors come and launch their new books this Saturday, July 18th from 3:00 – 6:00 pm.

The Haunting of Springett Hall by Emily B. Wheeler

Eighteen-year-old Lucy doesn’t know how she became a ghost, but the more she remembers of her life in Victorian England, the more she wants to forget. Her only hope of changing the mistakes of her past is to enlist the help of a servant named Philip – the one living person who can see her. This impossible romance story is filled with delightful period detail and plenty of mystery.

Ian Quicksilver: The Warrior’s Return by Alyson Peterson

Nerdy foster kid Ian just found out it’s up to him to save the galaxy. But the only way he can do it is with help from the hottest girl in school, Arianna who doesn’t remember that she and Ian are exiles from another planet- or that they are betrothed. So . . . that’s awkward. Funny and full of twists, this is one sci-fi adventure you won’t want to miss!

There will be cake, giveaways, readings, and more! So make sure you stop by, meet the authors, and get to know some great books. For questions, call (435) 752-3055.
